The BC Games Society staff members are encouraged to report any inappropriate, unethical, or dishonest conduct. The intent of the policy is to ensure that questionable actions are brought to light and dealt with immediately, while also protecting any individual who, in good faith, reports such concerns. All concerns should be raised with the Audit Committee Chair:

Health and Safety WorkSafe BC

The BC Games Society is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace in order to minimize and/or prevent occupational injuries and illnesses. Consistent and continuous efforts by all staff members should be made to prevent workplace accidents, and to ensure our workplace and equipment are maintained in safe condition. The BC Games Society is registered with WorkSafe BC and complies with all the requirements for creating a healthy and safe workplace in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Workers Compensation Act of British Columbia . OHS Representative The BC Games Society has a designated worker occupational health and safety representative. This individual acts as the point of contact for workplace health and safety concerns and helps to identify and resolve any health and safety issues in the workplace. Any workplace health and safety issues should be reported to the Worker Health and Safety Representative. Injury on the Job Whether a staff member is working in the BC Games Society office, working from home, or while on business for the BC Games Society, any occupational injuries, illnesses and accidents that result in a workplace injury (no matter how minor), or that could cause a disabling injury or property/ equipment loss, must be reported immediately to the President and CEO. At a minimum, accident and/or injury reporting must comply with the requirements of the BC Workers Compensation Act and regulations.
