Special Meals The Special Meals Chair area is responsible for ensuring that participants with dietary requirements receive suitable meals. This includes planning for, interpreting, and managing dietary information (such as food allergies) that are submitted by participants as part of the registration process, and ensuring the Food Venue and Off-site Meals Chairs incorporate these requirements into their meal planning. This Chair will provide guidance in the meal planning process to ensure all dietary concerns are being met. Special dietary meals may be provided in a separate buffet line at the Food Venue for breakfasts and dinners and as individually packed meals for lunch. This Chair will work with the Food Venue and Off-Site Meals Chairs to ensure production and distribution of special meals is appropriately staffed.
